Housed in two 19th century stone houses on a hill overlooking the Tramuntana mountain range and Palma Bay, Hotel Valldemossa offers intimate luxury accommodation in one of the most picturesque small towns in Mallorca. The idea behind the Hotel Valldemossa is to create a personal ambience; guests are received as friends and the ambience is more akin to a country home than a hotel. The property itself belonged to the former estate of the Carthusian Monastery of Valldemossa – the town's most famous attraction – where Frederic Chopin and French feminist writer George Sand stayed and spent time admiring the town's beauty. Indeed, you can enjoy the same pleasure yourself - the existing 7 hectares of traditional orange and olive groves are a haven of peace and quiet for you to wander around and enjoy the rural atmosphere.
