Hotel Villa Sonia is a reformed villa located on a ridge just downhill from the centre of medieval Castelmola, with lovely views of Mount Etna out the back and Taormina and the Ionian Sea to the front — a lovely base for a Sicilian getaway. The hotel makes use of natural stone and terracotta which blends in nicely with the surroundings, and conjures up a rustic yet elegant atmosphere.
